Harriet Tubman was a conductor on the Underground Railroad. Harriet Tubman was a great Shero who had courage, tenacity and the driving will to succeed in all she did. Her spirit guided her to throughout her life. We will always be remembered for being a great abolitionist, warrior, nurse, and spy. We will continue her legacy, so that we will reach that promised land one day. This DVD explores what Harriet Tubman would do if she were alive in the 21st Century. We are not going back and doing what she did, we are utilizing all of the qualities she exemplified and apply them to the present day. ABOUT THE FILMMAKER: Heru “Neset” Kamene Heru Deans Kamene was born at Einstein Hospital, on January 10th, 1994. Heru graduated college on June 1st, 2017 and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lehman College in Bronx, NY. Throughout Heru’s school career he has been involved in implementing many educational programs and assisting people with their studies. In 2013, while attending Bronx Community College, he won a competition that involved creating a tangible solution to a problem in society. He chose to solve the problem of racism. In 2012, Heru created The Movement clothing line. His main goal was to create clothing that the younger generation could relate to. During the last year of college, Heru enrolled in classes that focused on media and entertainment, because he gained an interest in editing and recording videos. This led to the birth of The Movement Productions. Heru is currently creating a DVD docu-series that involves asking the question “What Would…..Do?” Each edition will explore what a great historical person would do, if they were alive in the 21st century. In addition to filmmaking, Heru, aka Ne$e☥is also involved with producing music and is in the process of creating an Extended Play titled, “Ambitionz of A Schola.” This project is due to be released in the Spring of 2018.
